Hey Penny. Sorry.
I was kind of depressed and not doing to well. And did not want to share misery. lol

I am doing much better now. I did have my surgery Oct 1st.
And a month later I had to go back in the hospital. My lungs were full of fluid and so was the sack around my heart. None of the meds they gave me helped get rid of it.

I am finished with home health and doing pretty good. Most of the time I am pretty full of energy. I'm loving that feeling! It's been a long time since I have felt this good.

It's nice to see everyone is still here.

Sorry you had to go through what you did, but I'm so glad you are doing fine now. You were missed.

Around 9:15 pm, it sounded like an army was invading. EVERYONE around this area went to see what was going on. A couple of the neighbors had gotten together, in the big field across from us, and set off about a 30 minute, non stop, AWESOME display of fireworks. It looked professional. We got the kids, and all ran outside to watch. When it was over, everyone was clapping, and cheering. It was really great.

I don't watch much TV but when I do I enjoy it.
If they stick by the first two episodes I think it's exactly what we need right now, a little truth and a little humor in politics.

it sounds like a long haul, but worth it - you can sleep OK now? you seemed to be in a very difficult place before the surgery.

How nice to get some great fireworks so close.
We used to get to watch them from Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm in Calif. We lived about 10 min from each of them right in the middle. In Anaheim, Calif.

Yes it was a long time. Yes I can lay down to sleep again! Thank goodness! It's so nice!

I am slowly building up my strength and stamina.

So how is everyone? I did not see Diva on. Is she ok?
