What happened to BYC. I took a long nap - just came down stairs and find BYC has changed in many aspects while I slept. It was okay earlier. I'm feeling very disoriented now.

Some of us were up (I am several hours ahead ) but couldn't log on because the site was offline, being updated I guess. Doesn't look too different from here, but maybe that's because I've barely started !

Been under the weather here. Allergy related bronchitis. I'm feeling better now even though I still sound a bit froggy when I talk. DH is enjoying it quieter around here.

We are heading into the deep freeze which is unusual for February. They are predicting -7 for the middle of next week. Oh joy, I can hardly wait!

I was having wiring problems in the coop preventing me from plugging in my no freeze water holder. I tore into it yesterday and decided I was over my head so DH came out to take a look at it. Lots of mouse damage to the main power line so we ripped it all out and rewired the outlet. No more over head light but the birds kept breaking the bulbs anyway. I went to a clamp on light.

I guess I missed the beta test of the new site. I mean it's like AGAIN? I just got used to the current one!

It depends on what type of chickens they are. Polish need higher protein.

Careful with all the snow shoveling. Sister had a heart attack yesterday after shoveling snow. All i see outside are piles of snow to move...
