We buy the sturdiest version, with double knees for kid 3.
That isn't at all uncommon. Generally speaking one doesn't often need to access the backside of the valve body. Of course it WOULD be nice if the plumbers would put in accessible shutoffs for shower bodies so you can change the valve without shutting off the entire house.Another thing the builder did was leave NO access to the shower plumbing
I don't know if that would work in sub 0°F temps. Plus the commercial ones have thermostats though I guess you could plug yours into a ThermoCube.I get either a coffee cup warmer, or wax melter and put it in a metal tin. Then place the waterer on top.
