I thought at first it's the glass too, but we watched out a different window and it's not the glass part that he's banging on!He's fighting his reflection in the door - it's a territorial thing.
Good morning, All.

Speaking of leg mites. I was over at the gal's place yesterday where I got KE, the bantam with the leg mites. Her roos had them, it was obvious even from a distance, but the hens did not. Why would roos have them and hens not? Difference in body chemistry?Yesterday, Dd #2 came over. She held roosters, while I trimmed spurs, and toenails. I have 1 that appears to have leg mites. I'll get some oil on his feet, and legs later today, and put a little permeth. dust on the roost.
Sounds like he's in love with your chickens and is providing for them.![]()
He may be in love your feed. When we had snow cover, dozens of wild birds would be waiting around the tractor until we opened it. This guy may be smart enough to go one step earlier in the process.I thought at first it's the glass too, but we watched out a different window and it's not the glass part that he's banging on!
I would imagine they have them just not showing as much as the roo.Speaking of leg mites. I was over at the gal's place yesterday where I got KE, the bantam with the leg mites. The hope is to age gracefully...but getting older can make us less graceful!Good morning! Two cups down the hatch. Lots to do today!
How'd we get so old? I refuse to get old. Older is ok. Can't stop that. Sometimes it scares me that when my mom was my age, she had less than a year to live. When my dad was my age, he'd already been dead for over a year.
My mom's brother, on the other hand, lived to be 96. And still had his marbles in the right order.
Have a great day, all!
The BSL boys I had all had that famous DOT on the head as chicklings.. These were advertised as gals and had no DOTS. Don't tell me I got more roos? Please don't tell me that!Sexlinks here look like yours your seeing roosters in your sleep
Morning Old nasty but fun lady here .. growing old but all else is rolling down hill .. Grandma lived to be 103.
