@CSolis you need to call the Office of the Surgeon General at your VA Center Hospital as soon as possible. They will cut through the red tape for you. If that doesn't get action, call your congressman. That is ridiculous.

DH gets community care for his skin cancer problems. They wanted us to drive to Columbia which is over 80 miles from us. With my health problems it was almost impossible for us to make the trip down there if he had to have surgery with me driving. They said that due to my RA and Arthritis it was a hardship for us and granted him community care at a local dermatology office and they do a fantastic job for him.

Don't wait any longer. They a have let you fall through the cracks and need to be shook up a bit. And....

The central AC would need to be replaced. When it was working, it cost up to 800.00 a month to run it. It is a 1995 model and you are supposed to replace them every 15 to 20 years.

I suspect that a replacement would be much more energy efficient than a 26 Y/O model. Might be worth a look anyway. On the other hand, if you only need to cool a few rooms, the window units might be cheaper to run.

Hopefully I won't need it before then.

He can get a Mule for you now so you will be well versed in its use by the time you turn 70.

I got my congresswoman involved after the first 3 months of waiting, waiting, waiting... and then it took until Dec ( 9 months later) to get my first appt. The nearest clinic to me is in Monroeville, some 50 miles from me.

Yes indeed, already warm and humid here. Got my mowing done early today. Don't know what else I can get into that constitutes trouble..
I have to admit, this is the most sane part of my day in an insane world. While feeding this morning, Mara the BCM decided to launch herself from the roost that leads into the small hen house where she and 2 others reside with Prince and land on my outstretched arm as I sprinkled some scratch grains around. She wanted a personal bite of those grains without any competition.
Graystoke then decided to check out the dog food storage container that has worked perfectly for a nesting box, and was sitting atop a 5 gallon bucket.. The storage container fell off the bucket with Graystoke inside. Once he managed to free himself, he rounded up his ladies and headed back in their pen.
Bonnie the BO was out free ranging along with KE and Sara, but Sara was chasing her, so Bonnie hopped up in my lap as I sat there in a camping chair watching that circus. Just makes ya love them even more.
And last but not least, Lady decided 3's a crowd, so parked herself on the free side, while Snowflake who's brooding, and Muffin's her sibbling are sharing the right side. Yesterday it was Snowflake and Lady in the right side with Lady grooming Snowflake and even laying her neck across Snowflake.. Looked like she was trying to snuggle and just couldn't get close enough. BTW, watch the egg drop from Muffins
