The Old Folks Home

Good Morning, get! (And all you other OFs in here)
My silver grey Dorkings have five toes. Any chance of one in their background?
No clue. I bought them as chicks last year as Easter Eggers. Snowflake lays blue eggs, and Muffins (with the muff) lays cream colored eggs.
Silky many come out with 5 toes
I guess since Easter Eggers are 'mixed' we will never know. Not even sure dad is the Bielefelder he was supposed to be. He's quiet (as in not flighty or nervous), and very gentlemanly. Lady is definitely a Bielefelder. He looks more EE to me.

He's a gorgeous rooster, @CSolis. Almost looks like one of my Fayoumi/SDW bantam crosses.

Good morning all. Bleary eyed here this morning. We are sitting here waiting to hear from the Vet and chugging down coffee. We both slept better knowing Sid is in good hands.
TY TY. I really like him. He's gentle with the ladies, yet stand his ground when the others come knocking at his door (so to speak). I've got each roo and his ladies in separate pens, which enables me to let them out in groups, and not have roo fights or accidental breedings. Here's the week old hatch from their pen, (not mentioning how Snowflake is also brooding eggs from their pen), and one from um... Margaret I believe. She's out of one of the BS/BA mix hens and Bruiser (BSL roo). Margaret is in with Prince Charles my one winged wonder.

hahaha, morning micro... how's the pup this morning?
No calls overnight so we are keeping our fingers crossed and waiting to hear for the vet. She said she would call after they made rounds.

Interesting practice. It is staffed by 4 vets, all ladies! GO GIRLS! I think a couple three are married. One said that she and her husband prefer animals to kids. She may be on to something but considering the mess Sid got herself into I dunno.

@Alaskan, yes, prayers are appreciated and have kept her going. We think she accidentally swallowed the tag. Varn lost his collar the first part of last week. Not unusual. They are always either playing or Sid is trying to keep the boys in line and they are tussling. I went out, found the collar but the tag was missing. I remembered going into the house and saying "Varn, I found your collar but what the heck did you do with your tag?" DH had half way joked that somebody probably ate it. I said no, it's out there in the grass somewhere and got a new tag to go on. We keep extras on hand that the first vet gave us in case of tag loss. Didn't think any more of it until yesterday.

We think she accidentally swallowed it.
