Hey Old Folks made a trip to Costco early today.. Moose if like 8 or 9 now hitch in his giddie up right shoulder was pulled out running like a pup. Colds weather hurts worse ..
just like us buy he limps bad in the house .. Runs like pup outside

The Costco coupon sales start tomorrow so I will be going to Costco later this week

I hope Moose is better soon

Today I went and picked up 23 bales of hay for goats and bunnies.

How are the goats? I don't think we've heard a lot since they came home and one escaped

You need to find a Lyme literate doctor or a doctor who specializes in contagious diseases. Your doc must think it's a one size fits all sort of treatment and it isn't. There are co-infections that require different antibiotics. I'm trying to remember but think...and don't quote me.... I think they use azithromycin to treat Babesiosis which is one of the co infections.

I was lucky enough that one of our patients had Lyme and wound up having to take hyperbaric treatments for it. She suffered for almost 20 years before she was diagnosed. Lucky also we both saw the same doctor so I would go in and tell him that whatever he was doing for her, do the same thing for me....but not the hyperbaric treatments, lol.

A lot of the people on lyme.net do the complementary treatments as well as the antibiotic. Lots of turmeric and natural antibiotics. Folks get so desperate that they will try anything to feel better.

Cap, I would be stunned if you weren't busy....and probably heading east to check on you!

I have been taking some Tumeric. Just ran out of it.

Hi Bruce, they are doing well. They have eaten every scrap of green in their pasture except paw paw leaves. I am thinking of breeding 2 of them soon. Just need to find them a handsome man to visit.

They are pretty fat, even though I only feed two scoops of feed a day total for 4 goats.

She's ok, taking an intensive summer course - German. Covid-19 is a problem though. Hardly any cases in NB but the current border laws mean one of her roommates and another friend have to fly to Newfoundland for graduate school and ship their stuff, no driving across the Provencal borders. Dd1 is coming back later June to get vaccinated. If things don't change by August it will cost $3000 for her to get back to school - 2 covid-19 ($300 each) tests plus 2 weeks in a quarantine hotel even if she is 2 weeks out from her second shot.

It does make sense to get the covid vaccine here then since it is free here.
