The Old Folks Home

We did get a bit of a refund. Now everybody uses the small truck service.
Sadly we often don't know we're being screwed until we accidentally find out others aren't.

I was paying almost $4.50/gallon for propane. Found out last year someone I know 25 miles south was paying $3.50 from the same big company for a lot less than I use annually.

Called the local office and asked about it. They dropped my next delivery to $3.50 and credited me $1/gallon for the prior delivery. Last May they put me on the advance purchase program ... about $2.50/gallon. I figure I've been screwed out of many, many thousands of dollars.

Your ears will be complaining but those chicks will have a much shorter and comfortable commute than shipped chicks.

😱 They have you on long term steroids for RA?!? DW was on them for a short time with not much to show for it. Then they put her on Enbrel. She's now on Humira. Ask your new doctor of they would be appropriate for you.

Probably, have you looked at the land west of California? I doubt many would take off into the desert not knowing what was beyond. I suspect the only reason people went west to CA was because there were already reports from the sailing explorers.

Micro, that is an oxymoron.

Time for less food and more exercise!
I guess I should have said that Decadron lasts longer in your system.

So far steroids have been the only thing that have relieved my symptoms. Methotrexate helped but the doc wasn't pleased that it didn't help me more than it did.

Hopefully the new Rheumy will get to the bottom of things for me.

Oxymoron....like jumbo shrimp? Military intelligence?

I trust Military Intelligence far more that I do the CIA and that other crowd in DC.
Time to clean out the liver. The liver gets overloaded with toxins, then throws the heat out to the joints. That's what TCM says. They kept telling me I had RA but it wasn't.. It was undiagnosed Hep C.

If I felt really energetic I would go out and measure the circumference of the tree, divide by PI and then multiply that by 4 to get the age of that tree. Needless to say it's well over 100 years. It's a live oak and doesn't shed its leaves until spring and then not all of them.

Morning OF!
We have old growth oak in our timber. Lost one to a storm about 5 years back that had a double trunk. Each one was so big around that I couldn't get my arms around it. I think we counted the rings at around 100 years.

We are losing a lot of our mature oaks here to a wilt. If storms knock off limbs the wilt gets into the wound and kills the tree. The good thing is that we have enough immature oaks that there are always ones to step in and become forest giants.....plus we get to use the dead tree for fire wood courtesy of ma Nature.

I have two brooder tubs in the living room behind me as I sit at the computer. Biggest complaint is the dust but that will cease soon enough. Cheepcheepcheep keeps me happy too.
Roger that, I luckily ran out of the wood shaving bedding and am using news paper, I dont mind changing to several times in the day, its better than the dust.
