Woke up this morning to no power and the electric company saying that the problem should be fixed by 3:30. At 3:30 the recording changed to there are crews on site and we can expect our power on by 11:30. Yay

Oops I forgot you were a civilian again. What's with all the interviews?

Anyone else just want to crawl back in bed this morning and not face the world?
 
Well the position is pretty important. It is site manager for a program that just started up this year and could make the company quite a bit of money. I understand the additional interviews, they want to make sure they are selecting the right person. I get that. The problem I have is all of this stalling just shrinks down the time I will have to get out there. I know that the person who is filling in right now is supposed to go back to the contract he was hired to work on by the 16th of November. I still have to train a replacement for my job if I get this one. I am not going to leave my boss short handed.
WIth the power out and no coffee, I absolutely want to crawl back in to bed and not face the day. Not looking forwards to no shower this morning either.

Wish I could give you the shower I took earlier. I apparently don't need it. The good news is I can go crawl back into bed now. The bad news is... for how long?

Probably just get ready and go to work. Maybe they have power out there (not really counting on it since when we don't have power, they usually don't either) and I can make some coffee. This is probably going to be a hat day.

I would crawl back in to bed too but we are supposed to be visited by one of our VP's today. Yippee.
 
Yeah probably going to see if there is something with coffee along the way. I don't think I have ever lived in a state that loses power so often. Not even when I lived in Maine years ago.
