I have no urge to try Kombucha just does not sound good in my book

I've had some homemade that tasted like straight vinegar. Other commercial ones were tolerable but definitely an acquired taste. Haven't bought any since Covid started and they turned off the "refill station" at the store.

I've never gotten that vibe from you though.

Checked the big pumpkins a while ago..included some Boscobel rose..they have what, 70 days or more still to grow? I might get a real monster..!

You must have a lot longer growing season than we do. Nothing will be growing here in late October.

Our dates follow a freeze on Halloween, first snow that sticks on Thanksgiving..although we can get fooled bynearly, late freezes etc..I figured growth through mid oct, so, 60, 70 days maybe left..

@Beer can I have had that happen a couple of times but it hasn't happened recently. Whatever you've done wrong I've obviously done it too so don't feel bad.

@microchick Babyyyyyyyyyyyyy Jayyyyyyyyyyy... Babyyyy Jayyyyyy? Baby Jay went out yesterday morning, sat on the tops of the pens as I fed the kids. Moving from pen to pen with me. Came in the house and snacked a few times, then went out and didn't come back in. Stayed out alllllllll night. I've been calling him all day today and nada. I did hear a distant jay calling from the trees day before yesterday and BJ intently listening from the railing of the deck while I was giving Gator a bath. I don't hear any jays out there today. I'm hoping and praying he's a) found a buddy b) is safe and sound c) not been eaten by anything or suffered another injury. I will miss him.
