There was a local news story about yellow jackets being out of control here! Our winters have been too mild so too many of them survived over winter. We do not have a problem at my place yet.Good Job and Congratulations, @Sally PB!
Our apples are ready to pick. There is only one thing stopping us and it's pretty major....

Yeah, those are Jellow Jackets and they are bad this year as you can see. Usually we only see one or two working on rotten apples. We don't spray so there are plenty for the varmints and plenty for us and the neighbors but since DH and I are both allergic to wasp stings and carry epipens with us, looks like we will be going out at night and working fast!
