The Old Folks Home

It amazingly got up to 60+ here, so I was outside busy starting on my new project. Banties are going to the back of the bus (Yard). I've got over a 1/2 acre to push mow, and I plan to reduce that amount by making a chicken 'garden' back there for them to free range in. I have materials for two round pens. May move the one up front back there too and put a lid on it.

I guess at 57 years old, I might fall into the "Old Folks" category LOL I'm a duck lady with 45 ducks. I decided to get show ducks and breed to show, so have a pair of Pekins, 2 pr Cayuga, 3 pair of white Runners, white and gray Call Ducks, Snowy Mallard pair, Spotted Australian, East Indies Ducks, and 10 non show Penciled Indian Runners. We had them together for winter but just cleaned out an area of the barn to make breeding runs.

Have never had Chickens but might get some show Silkies for my grand daughter to show. I think she would enjoy them.
