The Old Folks Home

Yes @CSolis but when you enjoy coffee and it's all you can drink, you learn to turn a blind eye to the fine details..I do drink a lot of herbal teas also. Alfalfa and mint, Lemon Ginger, Mint, plus yes, decaf iced tea. I also drink a lot of water laced with lemon or lime.

@getaclue have fun. Just hearing about something like that sounds so wonderful while we are melting off the latest snow.

I did get two long rows of netting up before my toes got cold from standing in the snow. The sun is already starting to soften up the areas where the snow has melted. I was hoping to make better time but had to quit. Hoping to get more up tomorrow.

@pennyJo1960...he left the mule sitting....moan.....:th
Hey Becky, your box of rocks is ready for its trip to the post office next time i go to town. It's pretty full. Some dirt included, lol.

The party turned out really nice.

This is that neighbor's new building. It's not quite finished, but it worked out fine for the party. No, it's not the one that the other neighbor built without the permits. The lady the party was for, just turned 70.

They brought in a bouncy house for the kids. That's their house in the background. They own the properties on both sides of the driveway.

The band started playing, and the old ladies began dancing. The one in the longer black coat, is the birthday girl. The band is called 1969. Most of these people were in their prime when these songs came out.

It looks like an amp caught fire. This is a really good picture.

The fire you are actually seeing is this:

There was a bonfire off to the side of the building.
The finale was a fireworks show, that lasted about an hour. It went from 4:00 pm, and wrapped up around 11:00 pm.

Me, with the band.

The neighbor that built that huge building without the permit(s), got his variances approved. There is a hitch though. The additional parcel of land he had to buy, so he could have both the building, and home, well he has to build his home on that parcel. He can't build it on the parcel with the building. The additional parcel is lowland. He will be spending a small fortune having dirt hauled, to get it elevated enough to put the home one, and to elevate a driveway for access.

They also let him know that if he tried to build the house without pulling permits, there would be no more forgiveness, and variances. He'd better do it by the book.

I hope he was assessed a hefty fine on top of it. Grrrrr
