I was out moving KW and the gals to their new accommodations at 1am last night due to not being able to sleep. They woke up to GREEN CARPET beneath the roost.. "What's that!?!?!?!" "Dunno, think we should check it out?" Finally someone popped off the roost and was busy checking out the grass, and BUGS! "We got bugs in here!" Now they are huddled under the nesting box, the silly kids.. They have the whole 8 x 10' tarp and they hide under the nesting box.. Sheesh! BTW.. that pen withstood some pretty heavy wind gusts last week, so I feel good about that.

Sounds like you did good. We've been having some ferocious winds also. Last night there were fires to the northwest, northeast and southeast of me. Thankfully they got them under control.
