Hi! Today I’ve found my silky not acting like herself, and upon checking in on her I discovered she has an eye shut and side seems like infected or some sort of injury?

I have some photos. Is it an ear/eye infection? What can I do to help her?

Thank you!

It may be a respiratory disease such as MG or coryza. Does her head smell bad or normal? I would clean her ear with a couple of drops of hydrogen peroxide and clean it out with QTips. Then apply some plain Neosproin to the ear. Clean or rinse the eye with saline, and apply some Neoporin to it as well twice daily. If you want to treat with an antibiotic, Tylosin might work, or if there is a bad odor, trimeth sulfa might work better. Do you see any bubbles in the eye?

No bad smell for now 🤞🏼.
I did a saline rinse, but I’ll the neoporin and Neosprin.
I would like to give her some antibiotics but I can’t find anything without a prescription.

No bubbles in her eye

Thank you so much for your response
