The Old Folks Home

Morning all. I'd like to say I've been busy but nope, just been lazy. Our weather is less than inspirational. One or two days of nice weather in the high 60s low 70s than rain rain and more rain and with it chilly miserable temps and high winds to make it feel worse.

Makes me want to just ride the sofa with a cup of coffee or iced tea in my hand binge watching TV. DH and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary last Sunday and decided to get a new 50" TV to commemorate the day....which is why I've been laying on the sofa binge watching TV.

Our old set was a 39" and the sound was getting buggy on it so we figured it was time to retire it to the Hobby Room where it would get less use and replace it with a 'smart' TV.

Why don't these things come with instructions on how to program them? I mean geesh. I said I was ready to go out to the road and drag in the dumbest 7 year old Amish kid I could find into the house to do the programming on ours. But we finally got it accomplished and I have a couple more days to binge before the temps go back up to where they are supposed to be for a few days.

I started with 8 Egyptian Fayoumi eggs in my incubator. Down to 6. One quit at day 4 and a second quit on day 11 or 12. The remaining 6 are looking good and they go into lockdown on the 18th hoping for a Good Friday hatch.
Happy Anniversary!
