Cement board is behind the wood burner. Morning Old Folks. 13 year old Labrador barking woke me this morning.

I love the look of tile. But I will never, ever willingly have a tile floor installed again. Every groove collects dirt/dust.

Our current floor looks nice, handles all the messes from the wood stove, dog, boots... but is never really "clean." Fortunately, the pattern hides dirt.

Cap, I love your new pottery shed. I can't wait to see it finished. Do you have an "inaugural" project in mind?

Thank you, no special project but i want to practise throwing on the wheel once the electric gets hooked up. Want to make lots of mugs.

We have tile only in the 2 bathrooms and the mudroom. Everything else is hardwood.

Linoleum in kitchen and 2 bedrooms, plus 2 bathrooms. Rest is hardwood.

Tile throughout the house. This is the first home I've ever lived in with tile. Always had carpeting, except linoleum in kitchens and bathrooms. I LOVE how easy the tile is to keep clean.
