After my fist trip to the fair, and it was pretty hot out, seeing so many people with neck fans, I decided I'd order some from Amazon. I asked everyone in the family if they wanted one. Nope. I ordered 1 of each of the 2 top brands, and decided I'd test them out, and keep the one I like best for me. The other would be for anyone that decided they might want to use it, or I'd have a spare.
Saturday, the weather channel said it was going to be 84 degrees out. Walking around outside all day with the Florida sunshine beating down on your head in 84 degree weather can get a bit uncomfortably warm. I charged up the neck fans the night before. I put mine on as we headed out the door. Nobody wanted to use the other one, but I carried it along anyway. Good thing I did.
As we were walking, the youngest grand got hot, so I put a neck fan on her. She loved it, and it cooled her down. Her aunt, Dd #2 got warm, and asked to try the neck fan. Youngest grand was willing to surrender it to her aunt for a little bit, to let her cool down. After bit, the fight was on. Hey, give me back my neck fan. No, I want to use it. I was using it first, give it back. I like it, let me use it. That's not fair, I like it too, I had it first, and I just let you borrow it for a little bit, now give it back. In the meantime Dd #1 decided she wanted to use it too. Grandma..... Oh heck no, you guys are NOT getting mine. Don't even think about it. Dd #1 bought another one at the fair, but it wasn't fully charged. That's ok, it worked long enough during the hottest part of the day, and not too long after that, the sun began setting, so things cooled off a bit.
