I found two of the strawberries that where green and alive in barrel.
Transplanted them to the patch I am building for them.
Was great here today 66 outside. Wore my chicken reebocks first time since like
forever.

Dry, crisp, and the weather is still a rollercoaster between 40's and 70's. Never sure what will be in store, even a few surprise freezes. The orchard is in bloom and other plants are attempting, so it's a pretty time of year.
Today's activity will be starting to seed the beds of the veggie compound. Hope it's not too late to put chard in.

Good afternoon. It's another beautiful day here on the homestead. I've got to spend a few minutes repairing some wind damage to a run and after that the normal chores of making sure everyone has feed and water.

Feeling my age this morning. I spent some time yesterday leveling the spot where the bee hive will go. I shifted cinder blocks and pavers several times. My back wants a nap.
