In the fall..so many vegetables. Different squash, potatoes, pumpkin, tomatoes, corn, beets, onions, peaches, apples, pears, cantaloupe, honey..herbs..more.Fall? What are they selling? Obviously here in Vermont the quantity of fruits and veg are limited in mid May when the market opens but those who sell baked goods, meat, cheese, handcrafts started plants and such have buyers. Some of them have big greenhouses so produce starts showing up and everything is full bore through the end of October.
Wait, are you suggesting that @sourland might be RESPONSIBLE for the woodpecker waking him up?No no, we should blame the Princess
Oh wait, that would be unfair since we have no facts. I think the woodpecker put it there AND filled it the day before.
I have that in a bird cage for just that. I have a regular visitor. Took pictures not too long ago. I just filled it again a few days back. The starlings went to town on it during our last snow storm. This little guy is pretty small. We have larger ones here in Utah, haven't seen one in a while.Try putting out suet, they will peck that instead!
Glad it wasn't that hot here! I got some planting done.Good morning Old Folks headed to take Smudge to auction.
