Goodnight Old Folks. I'm worn out from catching and moving chicks from the indoor brooder to an outdoor brooder house. They may be small but they sure can out run me.

I'll be doing that tomorrow. I think I'm going to put them all in a tote with a cover to carry them out. Poor babies... Tomorrow will be stressful for everyone.

I had some leftover U-Haul boxes and I hauled mine in them. They will never know.

Good Morning Old Folks. I managed to make the rounds another day this morning. The chickens are happy about that. A few will have a bad day next week but they won't remember it. Finally have some room in the deep freeze. Chicken and dumplings will be a frequent menu item for quiet a while.

10 am, rain has started we really do need a good rain.

I let all of mine out except the adult Cornish. They would stay out in the rain.
