Yeah, a lot better! Everyone’s noticed too saying I look better and more color and stuff. I guess the day I went in I looked really pale and just like I was not feeling right. Which I wasn’t.

The old part of me is getting sleepy.

I didn't die, but the garden is trying to bury me. Peaches, pears, tomatoes, grapes all coming ripe at once. I count my blessings, though, because this was a brutal year with the extreme record-breaking extended heat. Most of my gardener friends threw in the towel. What has been growing best are the weeds.

Now that I'm officially a senior in the eyes of the govt, I've got an appointment with ortho doc for knee surgery consult next month. Gotta love Medicare! I'm still walking like a penguin. The good news is that there is no pain, just mobility issues... I think I ground all the nerve endings to smithereens.

Survived Covid easily, but the brain fog and insomnia are maddening.

That's about all that's new out here. Just came up for a little air before getting back to kitchen craft. Keep cool and carry on.

We survived covid easily too only to be haunted by it 2 years later. Wife is on oxygen now for life.
