Finding quality meat birds has been a real challenge. ( Of the heritage kind that is.)

Quote: We cook at lot here, just for that reason. Always too many pots and pan that still need washing. . . worth it though if in 90 years from now my kids are still mentally spry!! ( THey help with the dishes these days-- though I'm not sure their assistance gets them done faster! )

The problem is with the strength of the tornado like the size of the earthquake.

Nothing gets hurt here with 4 earthquakes. Buildings are built to take up to a 7. The houses are designed to shake, so things like the roof is not attached too well so low strength torpedoes will rip the roof off of a house. Then if there is downpour of rain the house is toast.

Strong of either will destroy both styles of building of course.

I can imagine even low strength torpedoes doing damage

I thoroughly enjoy teasing goats with cookies. Both these goats are Hoovers. I especially love how Caramel's face is contorted, smashed up next to Pippy's.

They act like I've never fed them.

Hope everyone's okay with the crazy weather going on.

I din't think there was a wasy to design a house to withstant a tornado-- earthquake yes, as we used some basics in our house-- but how to beat a tornado-- naught. Though I do know of one house in VT that is made of concrete! 100% concrete!

We do not make many houses in California out of concrete. Those that are are made to withstand earthquakes.

Building Material is one way to build for Earthquakes.
