The Old Folks Home

I do know chronic pain can drive a person nuts.
That reminds me of an old old story of a rich lawyer having a flat tire in front of an asylum with one of those very high fences to keep the inmate in. In addition to his tire being flat he had lost two lug nuts. He stood there totally clueless as to what he was going to do to get on the road again. Finally one of the inmates watching the lawyers desperate gestures told him he could fix it. The Lawyer says "How". Easy says the inmate. Just use the three lug nuts that you have skipping holes so you have enough to keep the tire on driving slow into the nearest station and buy new lug nuts there. The lawyer asked him "Why are you back there if you are that smart?". "Well" replied the inmate, "We are crazy not stupid".

Hopefully getting a shot in my knee next week. It's pretty bad right now.
I will be needing another shot soon too. I am getting a pain when walking. I will know it is time when I have trouble opening the car door enough to get out!

I should check the timing of the last to see when I can get another one.

The Princess has had two hip injections. The first lasted six months. The second was six months ago, and so far so good.

Maybe, and maybe you are walking differently and putting less stress on your hip.
It likely is walking better. My fitbit said that I was on an elliptical for one of my walks last year! It must have been a weird rolling gait...

Yes! When walking. I find that walking more towards my toes it doesnt..grab. It’s been years since my last one. Hope another lasts that long.

A friend had that rolling gait and a bad hip until his knee replacement. Once recovered from the knee surgery he walked normally, and his hip was less painful.
