It was a quiet Thanksgiving of just DH & I, which was enjoyable... I didn't get out of my sweatpants all day! The turkey made a reappearance in last night's curry. Tonight will be turkey enchiladas and hopefully that'll take care of it.

Yesterday was on-line shopping. Today is Small Town Saturday, so worth a trip out to the local shops and galleries, even as our first snow falls. It's a good day, though, to build a fire and just be cozy.

I did! We had our Thanksgiving dinner yesterday because our dil was working Thanksgiving day. We bought them a new dishwasher so we took it to their house and installed it on Thanksgiving Day. It was different but it was fun for me to hang out with the grandkids.

Aww that’s awesome!!! Glad you had a good time!!! I went to my brother’s house and his wife’s family was there so her parents, brother, and aunt and uncle. Plus their baby and me. LOL plus 4 dogs. Their 3 and her parents’. Brew stayed home. But it was great. Zero drama like some Thanksgivings LOL

We had some serious frost overnight, second night in a row. Farewell, last struggling tomatoes and crooknecks in the garden! Snow peas, parsley, comfrey, sorrel and asian greens don't care, goin' on about their business. Sunny and in the 50s now, so I've no excuses about getting on with my outdoor work (except in the shady areas where it's still frozen).

The pullets will get a chance to pick at the turkey carcass, little dinos! Plus a bowl of warm oatmeal, always a hit. The dogs will be jealous but I keep telling them, turkey bones are NOT good for dogs! (They are not convinced.) Staying home this weekend and finalizing Christmas gift lists, trying to keep it local much as possible.

I am NOT getting on the bathroom scale till Monday...all the indulgent calories should wear off by then, right?

I did, this morning. Not happy. Not happy at all. I need to remember that number when I want to stuff myself. And if/when we go out to eat tomorrow with friends. That's up in the air, and depends on the weather.
