Good Evening Old Folks. Looks like rain all night tonight and all day tomorrow. I'm not going to complain because we are not in a drought and and it's not 20 below zero.

No snow or ice is good.

I bought a smaller tree this year, prices on live trees went crazy.

We do artificial thanks to rampaging allergies. Pretty tree, Cap! One of those things that size really doesn't matter.

Nothing as fancy as prime rib here. Used to do that every Christmas. Bought the roast fresh from the local meat processor. Of course we were younger then and our cholesterol levels were easier to control.

Now it's slow roasted top end sirloin and roast turkey breast.

Eat a slice of that prime rib for us, @Sequel!

Another successful turkey dinner is in the books. Lots and LOTS of leftovers. Turkey, potatoes, gravy, and some stuffing left for me, since hubby doesn't care for it much.

Another carcass in the freezer for making bone broth in about 3 weeks.

Well old folks the sun will shine another day soon. No prophesies as to which one. I think today Gulf of Mexico dropped about 6" on us. The bright side is I slept through it.
