A low of 19 degrees overnight. That is the highest low I've seen in a couple weeks. NOT looking forward to the coming rain, though.

Well, that surely does NOT describe me!Good morning. Bright and brisk here. The weather that is.
We will tomorrowIt's not going to thaw like I thought it would. Bummer.
What about Colorado? We lived there for a couple of years a couple of decades ago and I remember loving the weather there. We'd get dumped on with a couple of feet of snow, but the next day most would melt away. I remember one winter never needing my winter parka. If you want to ski, it's a half hour or so to the slopes.Hubby would never move farther south. He hates heat and humidity. Probably more than I hate the cold.
I'd know never to suggest that zone. He also likes snow in the winter for cross country skiing.
We have a trout stream down a steep hill on our property that stays open all winter. I have never fished it, and I call myself a fisherman.Someone told me that I have the best fishing spot in the county on my property, right under a dam. I have never gone fishing.

Or a can of corn.Don't need a worm for sunfish. just flatten out a piece of fresh bread where it will wobble as it sinks. Don't use any added weight. Just let it sink on its own and see what happens. I used to do that and it really PO's the rich kids who had the latest greatest tackle and could not catch the fish like I was.![]()
