The San Francisco news groups are calling it a Brutal heat wave.

One of the problems is wild fire. There is a big one north of us by Lake Oroville burning now.

The 24th. of this month. Not too far off.

Nice. Some places you have to wait months to get in.

I am very excited about the wedding... supposed to be a tiny wedding... and I have issues with my sisters, so they were not invited. It was to be a wedding of 15 people.... except of course my mother, she invited and paid for the travel for one of my sisters and her kid.... so, 2 wedding crashers....


It could have been worse... my mom could have invited way more people.

Still ticks me off. I wanted to 1. Do what the bride and groom wanted (tiny/micro wedding) and 2. Not worry about any guests except for the family of the bride... and getting to know them (never met them)

This is what we did when our son and DIL got married. My Mom and one sister, our daughter and her family and DIL's family - the first we met them as we kidnapped her from Texas.
