We had a much needed rain today. I think it dampened some fireworks goers but we really needed the rain worse than a lot of noise today.

Understand that early enough here yet won't get dark till like 9:30.
Son will go water the garden in a bit.

Goodnight Old Folks. Tomorrow is supposed to be not as hot as it was today.

Due to lack of rainfall, it was decided that fireworks were banned, so the fireworks stands couldn't open, and sell any fireworks. With the hurricane action, we've gotten a good deal of rain, so they lifted the ban yesterday. Prices were ridiculously low, since they didn't want to deal with all the excess inventory. Dd #1 came home with a lot of really great fireworks, including 4 finale boards.

We did not shoot any off due the fire danger.
We did watch from our backyard the ones from town
and closer neighbors. Most our done now.

Good morning, OF. We got a bit of rain last night - not sure how much. Humid as all heck right now. Facing a high of 94 with a real feel of 104. Good day to stay inside in the AC.
