Fireworks are illegal here lol

Here fireworks use goes county by county. Some places have more fire danger than others. Here we can use safe and sane fireworks from the weekend before the Holiday.

The police here caught a person with enough illegal fireworks to land a $120,00.00 fine and some prison time! I think that scared some off of the illegal fireworks.

Some guy in SC placed fireworks on his head and lit them. Not a good idea - he is now deceased.

Our local paper said that the city fireworks were cancelled because the firework company had too many injuries from an accident that happened on July 3rd. I can only imagine what happened!

There was an historic wooden covered bridge less than a mile downriver from me. In 2013, it burned, and it was arson. (WHY??) They have since rebuilt a decent replica, but it isn't the same. The original was built in 1869.
