The Old Folks Home

We are going to have dinner at home but using the stove top and
fryer. We have great air conditioner in the living room keeps the house at 70.

There was an historic wooden covered bridge less than a mile downriver from me. In 2013, it burned, and it was arson. (WHY??) They have since rebuilt a decent replica, but it isn't the same. The original was built in 1869.

I do not understand.

There is so little understanding of private property, or the fact that destruction is easy and building/rebuilding is NOT.

The was an old building here in town...vacant. vandals kept trying to?? or... accidentally??? burning it down. Third try they were successful. Luckily it did not spread to other buildings.

Good morning!

We are at our low of 68F this morning. I am going to run the whole house fan to get some cooler air in the house. Today will be 109F for a high.

It has been extremely quiet lately.

Hubby has been complaining about the heat, but we. got. NOTHING! to. complain. about! We're going to get to the upper 80s/near 90 by next weekend.

Yeah, that's hot. It'll be humid, but he'll hide in the house with the A/C.

He's not looking forward to working full time the next two weeks, training a new person where he used to work. There's no A/C in that department, so I know he's going to be GRUMPY when he gets home.
