Today is one of those that is just to hot to handle. I went out early finished digging the sweet potatoes and marched myself right back in while still able to do so and have not taken a step outside since so maybe I still have some sense left. Once is cools below 90° I'll gather them up and get them on a rack to dry and cure.

I went for a walk when it was 96F this afternoon and it did not feel that hot to me. Of course it is a lot cooler than 110F...We did have some 115F days in July.

Did get hot to us today 84 and temp has come out a bit.
Barefoot me again feels more human.

I remember traveling across KS on the way to CO and stopped to buy gas and the locals were complaining about the awful heat. It had gotten into the 80's. In CO in June the temps were in the upper 40's in the late afternoon.
