My DW has had both of those! She had an ambulance ride for two of them.

Never had the kidney version but can imagine after two gallstone attacks. There will be no more. Doc took care of that and a hiatal hernia at the same time with 7 tiny incisions and a robot. At least I think they had a robot. I guess they might have used the x-ray type thingamabob to guide the scalpel.

Doctors are not, and medical 'care' is not what it once was.

Seems like medical care from doctors is more about pumping people through the office than actually caring for them.

Finished evening chores except for closing up the pet coop that is near the door. Temp is dropping but we shouldn't see temps like we had last night.

That would be my choice. I keep the porch lights up till spring. The Princess says the Christmas Police will come for me.

Hubby has stopped turning the lights on on our Christmas tree. That means it's time to take it down.
