When I was young, it never registered just how much work needs to be done when a person dies. There you are, your heart in shreds, and mountains of paperwork need to be completed.

Our electric bill is down $35 this month over last. Less AC, and done canning (electric stove). It should drop a bit more for the next bill. But days of $75/month electric bills are probably over.

PGandE has doubled electrical rates over the past couple of years. A couple of days ago they sent an email saying they were going to lower electric rates by 2.3 percent....Not much help there!

I am getting a bit of that with the death of my Mom. My sister is doing most of the work since she lives in the same City and it the executor.

We are having cool mornings with afternoons in the 80s. Some rain would be nice for the yard but farmers are harvesting so we are watering and not hoping for rain.
