I'll have to count them. Probably about 30. There's a few Jaerhon/pene crosses and Ameraucana/pene crosses. The pelts of the Jaer/pene crosses are magnificent. I was hoping to end up with some olive eggers eventually. Black Penedesencas are my main focus and true love though.
If one wants goose size eggs out of a chicken, I've gotten them from a Minorca/Penedesenca cross.

I also have about 12 pullets and 9 cockerels that are 16 weeks so I have to cull some hens and roosters.

Nice I have some black from @DirtyAnkleAcres and some crele in mine going

I will take a some eggs of your hand of you still have fresh eggs by Monday.

I won't be able to set them locally until friday evening but I am sure I can find somebody here in socal to give them to.

I should. @debs_flock set some for me yesterday as both my incubators where full from traded eggs and my rooster went limp in my second run. Not sure what happened. he is not putting any pressure on 1 foot. No sign of injury or bumble foot .He is still eating drinking and mating .so I am hoping to hatch a replacement from that line , But I should have empordanesa some crele and black. Plus olive eggers eggs

I saw a couple dandelions in the yard, so I know it's starting to warm up. We had snow yesterday morning, though. It now melts in the morning!

I saw a piece on tv this morning about renting chickens. I am hours and miles from a target market but still fascinated by the concept. A small coop and all supplies and two hens are delivered for a set rent price. Neat for people who are not sure it will work for them to investigate before going "all in". I can see it as a unique gift as well.
