Yeh, you betcha we name the important contributors in our lives. A good friend of mine calls "hers" Bertha...mine has always been "Buster" (with a whole lotta troubles bustin' out!). High velocity fanned Sportsman we bought new in 2007...before that, we only natural hatched ALL our poultry...

Buster has enabled us...indeed!

Buster the Bator

Load up Buster...

Buster is a little off kilter mostly but that's what's special about him!
lol.png

Steer clear but hydrate him daily and let him do his work...very important work keeping the family of feathered fiends on the GROW! LOL

So yeh, that is Buster...Maybe y'all need to also meet...

Stan the stately Man

Stanley's my stainless brooder...which I have been busy getting prepared to step up and brood the first of my chicken chick hatch from the middle of July.

Stanley - he's a stainless steel therapy tub that was a chattel left behind when a sports clinic vacated a rental space in the city. We were very happy to welcome him here and he replaced a tall horse waterer of about the same size...we love Stanley and well, he's just prettier than a galvanized water tub. My fav colour is chrome, eh? Never enough sparkly jewellery like items in a woman's life!

Stan is AWESOME just like many of the men I know that are GREAT with youngun's...no fuss, no muss, rarely any gooey goo goo's to be distracted by with men looking after the lil' folks. They make rearing the widdle ones look so easy, sensible and efficient!

I love my MEN...my hard working MEN AT WORK!

Doggone & Chicken UP!

Tara Lee Higgins
Higgins Rat Ranch Conservation Farm, Alberta, Canada

Nice! Were they expensive?

That's a nice looking rooster. Where do I get eggs from? And do you hand carry his highness into the coop each night?
Seven of us have them in California now. It is too hot to ship hatching eggs but I have them and @PetRock too.

He gets to have the pullets brought to him--he is still too noisy even with the rooster collar. He needs a bigger one for sure!
