Luckily we haven't escalated to ornamental chicken figurines yet. Karin did start importing aluminium poultry signs though, so we have a few of those, but I think they look cool too. And we just got this egg skelter, but that's actually functional, so it doesn't count.

The NSA is watching you now.....

i did not hit the "buy it now" button.

too bad you cant get 1080 here. Sodium Fluroacetate is a great poison. When we moved onto our farm in Oz we has a summons to destroy the rabbit infestation. The pasture protection board came out and laid carrots every second day for four days. On the last day the bunnies were lining up for the 4x4 with its treats. They had an extra ingredient that killed an estimated 1.5 million rabbits in a day. Most died in their holes but the sstench was unbelievable. For those that arent aware rabbits are a non native species in Australia and almost destroyed all pasture in the whole country in the 30s. Rabbit, fox, prickley pair(nopal) cactus and blackberry are all monitored by the gudment and you are required by law to control them.

Quote: Compound, recurve and longbows require a bit of practice, but those work too. The crossbow would have been easier to aim with. Traps might be the best bet though, that way you know it's dead, the poison has the negative effect of letting it get away and you being unsure if it worked or not. You need to call the Acme company and order a feral cat catching trap with anvil and dynamite.

crossbows, arsenic...or dear!

In the meantime...here are some photos of pups.

She had 7 last time, not sure what happened this time, but I think I am glad there are only 4 this time. :) Have already sold 2. I want a cream..maybe. Or a black.
