There was another confrontation after midnight that brought more teargas.

Turns out the police shot someone else during it. The person is in critical condition.
Preliminary accounts are that this one was justified.
A woman was also shot in the same neighborhood but unrelated.

I remember my first trip to jail. It was 1992. I was at our jr/sr prom. As we were leaving i decided to urinate on the principals car. I didnt see the cop standing behind me. I got charged with minor in possession of alcohol, indescent exposure, and criminal mischeif.

My first (and last) trip was as a kid - sort of a 'scared straight' thing. Jail did not strike me as a very appealing place; hence, I have never desired to return. However if Wisher wanted to cuff me -------------------------------

I did not know they were moving BYC to a new website. I guess that explains why I could not get on for so long last night and then the reply box and tools were gone.

My cockerel did not make it, it passed last night. my DH looked it over good and found a puncture on it's neck which would explain the gurgling sounds I guess. I wonder if one of my other roosters got to rough with him or what.

CC, sorry about the things happening so close to you. The news began reporting yesterday that the original protesters, which were mostly peaceful and local, had left and been replaced with protesters that were violent, and not even from that area. Stay safe!

Going to take my granddaughter to a tea room today. She's wearing a fancy dress to daycare, where I will pick her up. She has a change of clothes, and shoes in her backpack, as we will be going to the coop after tea. Daughter is coming to help with coop chores today too. I'm thawing out cube steaks for supper, since I don't know if she's bringing her boyfriend, and I'm expected to provide supper. I told her to let me know, but my children seem to have communication problems sometimes, unless the need something.

One of those is my favorite. Guess which one. I even, sorta', named my youngest after him, sorta.

getaclue I have to agree with you. Love my kids but the communication stream does tend to go one way (from me to them) unless they need something. I have taken to not hurrying to answer their texts or phone calls. I will answer them back when I get around to it.

I do the same, of course, I tell them I must have been out at the coop!

It should improve once the investigations are done. Hopefully, at least. The county police and the FBI are conducting separate investigations with the justice department looking over shoulders. I hope the whole truth comes out. Hopefully someone has video.

yes i was cuffed in the front to start with. Then i lit a cigarette in the back of the cop car and asked him to crack a window. He politely pulled over and moved the cuffs behind my back
