Plum jelly made from wild plum trees are very good. There is a bit of sour to it that helps.

We had some that grew up from prune tree root stock on the Prune orchard I lived on growing up.

Get the DW to make some jelly from the plums.
 
We also have several muskadine/scuppernong vines. I have no idea the difference. Some mature purple and some mature like white grapes. I have never made a jelly.
 
This jelly talk reminds me.

We had an argument with my sister over whether it's peanut butter and jelly or peanut butter and jam. Which do you guys use?

Both. Some days are jelly days, and others are jam days.
