I am off tomorrow.
I am going to try to catch up on my projects.

**Put hens and chicks in the tractor
**Redesign the auto-feeder (half of this was done)
**Cull down SC pullets by about half
**Select SC spring breeder cockerels
**Set up nest box in new pen
**Set up grit/shell feeders
**Take lots of pictures!

We'll see what gets done.......... It's awful hot out.........

What actually happened .....
**fight with the goats over what they are allowed to do and what they are NOT allowed to do
**clean out the workshop
**clean out the waterers
**sit and watch chicken TV for hours

To do today -

**put up roost guards on breeder barn

Hey, you can do what a lot of other folks are now doing... Come visit us in Colorado... do some skiing, smoking, drinking, smoking, gambling, smoking, mountain climbing, smoking, fishing, smoking, hunting, NO SMOKING (loaded weapons and all that, but drinking is still OK), and if you move here, you don't have to plant in your neighbors yard

My coop building is going slow. Its too hot here

It wouldn't really mean anything if "smoking" was allowed in all 50 states. Because of my job, I still wouldn't be able to do it. You know what? That's not such a horrible thing.

Don't get me wrong, I think it should be legalized in all 50 states because I really don't think it is any worse than alcohol. I don't believe it is any more "evil" than that. Besides, think of the tax revenues!

Unfortunately dude, here we are already feeling the cooler morning temps around here. We aren't dipping below freezing yet but that is coming, and soon probably. Sad that summer is almost over. I do like fall but it is so short here and then we are into the cold nasty winter weather long before winter starts. Maybe this might be my last winter here?
