The Old Folks Home

Hey I've got big plans too - Labor Day hope to get to Hobby Lobby. They are closed Sundays and that is the only day I would have a ride. BUT, Labor Day is Monday - they are open, and my 'ride' doesn't have to work that day. Yee Haw. I sure know how to have fun.

My big plans this weekend - clean out all the animal housings, treat the bees for mites, clean up the people house, and get to Mardens for some fabric for my next project. I am finishing up the binding on my pumpkin table runner today and starting a tree table runner for winter.

And it's a 3 day weekend (finally) for me!

My boy turns three on Sunday. We are having a Batman themed party at Jolibee with 25 toddlers. Yippee.

Oz you will have fun but you will also leave that place with a headache from the noise. I went to a child's birthday party at the local version (but much smaller) of Chuck E. Cheese and I made it through the cake and presents but after that I said my goodbyes. It was incredibly loud the entire time mainly because they had room for a bunch of parties going on at the same time.

I already did my heavy chores yesterday so I can go out and play the rest of the weekend. Yesterday was a trip to the dentist (

), clean out the coops, clean out the chicken pen, mow the lawn, do some laundry and clean up some of the barn. I am rearranging things in the barn because last weekend I sold the last horse I had at home. It is odd not to have them out in the back yard any more but I just feel like I will need to be a lot more mobile at lest for the next few years. I was so happy to find great homes for my oldest horse and her daughter. The jumper is being leased by lovely young lady whom I hope winds up purchasing her.

Now off to choose where I am going to take pictures today.

Good morning all!

Congratulations to the old folks thread!

It survived another round of moderation. I hope it is safe to post here again.

You All realize a post or two were removed from here and likely someone has been sent away for a time out?

Please keep things civil here. I like this thread too much to see politics and etc. kill it.

Ron: Ididnt know it got bad. I usually skip over the really long posts though. Ive broken my record for staying out of trouble.
