What?

Three hours and no comments. I am finally caught up and you guys get quiet.

I really got taken in today! A man showed up in my driveway blowing his horn nearly time for my DH to be off work. Well he introduces his self telling me he has spoke to my DH and that DH told him we had chickens and all kinds of animals here. He said he had a lone duck that he needed to re-home and he acted like he had already discussed it with DH and so I said ok. He asked if I had something he could use to bring it to me in? I gave him a cage to use and he said he would be right back. I was talking to myself wondering why DH would agree to take in a duck? I don't have anywhere to put a duck! What am I suppose to do with a duck?
So in about 10 min. he came back with the peking duck. He did not get out of his truck so I got the cage and the duck and he left. I only had one pen with a pool so I was hunting boards to use for the thing to get in and out of the pool when DH drove up. I asked him why he didn't call me to tell me he was sending me a duck. DH said what are you talking about I did not send you a duck and I did not talk to anyone! So I told DH what happened and he told me I had been taken in that the guy never talked to him about any duck. And to make matters worse all my chickens are terrified of it! I do not have any empty pens and this duck is a drake and won't even lay any eggs! What am i going to do with a duck???

Thanks cassie, I can't eat our animals. Idk why we just can't. I may list him for sale on one of the Facebook pages. lol I am just amazed I taken in like this. I only have chickens and turkey.... lol

On another note, today was a very good day for me. Found me some fabulous White Plymouth Rocks locally. Tomorrow I'm getting a Blosi hen and 3 JWIP hens and a cockeral. About 6 mo old. $120 cash plus 2 of my hatchery Delawares that just started laying and 2 (male and female) super blue egg layers, called my Sapphires. Totally win-win. I've been dying to get these for months but I didn't know he had any available until I PM'd him. I don't know which one is best. Both are grand.

Yes, I am in FL.  We are looking to purchase a home, or land and put a home.  At first glance, it seemed we had some good options, however, after careful investigation it seems our options are ,much more limited than we thought.  It used to be illegal here to misrepresent property.  Now, not so much, or it's too costly, and time consuming to sue the seller.  Too, the county politicos have allowed misrepresentation at times because it lined their pockets.
