Oh he's pretty! I'm going to be taking 3 roos and the pair of Blue Coppers to drop them off in a few.
I lied this morning. I made a pot of coffee and all of a sudden I thought cream and sugar was a good Idea. Then I saw the can of whipping cream and it was on. Put the top on the cup and stated drinking. Then I kept hearing a clunk in my cup and thought ewwwww, what fell in there. Opened it up and I had forgotten to take out the spoon. Better stick to black. LOL
I so envy that you have a broody right now!! I've been collecting speckled sussex eggs, at about 2 dozen right now and would love a broodie to take over the incubating job. ANd the rearing job as I want these to be great foragers.
Being a born and bred Texas girl I do like my tea...over lots of ice, no sugar or lemon, and preferably Lipton. Sometimes in a restaurant when they have really messed up iced tea, I will doctor it up to mask the nasty flavor. Then I make a mental note to not order tea there ever again.I certainly hope my coffee lecture didn't scare Tick. I was gonna say tick Tick off, but didn't wanna push it.I kill myself. I have no one in real life to joke with anymore and sometimes in print, it just ain't the same.![]()
Linda I got another Sumatra egg, burried in mud today. Just like yesterday. Nice when you have her right there to deliver for you. hehe They have a muddy pen. I don't know why, but I guess I need to haul another heavy bag of sand home and make them comfy. It's the only pen that gets really muddy and often. My BBS AMs can muddy things up a bit, but not like these crazy birds.
I don't like milk or cream anywhere near my tea. My 2 youngest daughters don't drink it often, but they can't drink it without. YUCK!In coffee is fine, but oh no, not teas. I guess I'm lucky that you can find just about any type of tea here. Even at the dollar stor they'll have green tea. Bill bought me green tea with lemon grass once and I told him it sounded nasty. Well it wasn't, so I buy it now too.![]()
Oh, sure, just what you need, SCG.......more hatching eggs!I didn't know (or remember!) that you had speckled sussex. Are you selling these as hatching eggs?
In Alabama, if you say "tea" you are talking about hot tea and even then people may assume you meant "Sweet tea" which, for you yankees, is iced tea with sugar............real sugar................lots of sugar.Being a born and bred Texas girl I do like my tea...over lots of ice, no sugar or lemon, and preferably Lipton. Real southern sweet tea is sweet as syrup. That's why I think it's served with so much ice.... when the ice melts a little, its actually drinkable! My husband even like extra sugar in his!In Alabama, if you say "tea" you are talking about hot tea and even then people may assume you meant "Sweet tea" which, for you yankees, is iced tea with sugar............real sugar................lots of sugar.
