The Old Folks Home

wowsers... I have heard some really bad jokes about Laps......

Of course, now some really off color jokes about people from West Texas and sheep come to mind...hummmm....

Maybe it is all good

Hmm, we don't really joke about them that much. I'm guessing replacing sheep with reindeer and Texans with Laps would make for some inappropriate jokes though.

You don't make jokes about the Laps, their reindeer, and velcro gloves?????

Leave the sheep; replace the Texans with Kiwis and you have similar jokes Down Under

Quote: The probe has a "collar" that is a very snug fit inside the tube, I had to push it down, so not much convection will be happening between the probe area and the rest of the tube. Just a happy coincidence, but it works. Anyway, I think the thermometer cost about 2 dollars with shipping from China, so I don't trust it's accuracy that much to begin with. The hygrometer on it is probably completely untrustworthy, not that it would function in the sealed package anyway.

Great sorry.... I am such a buttinsky

Alaskan, none really come to mind... perhaps you should share.

the land of ban is cold, and those are CLEARLY ban-able jokes.

Maybe you are as clean as all of the driven snow in Finland, so know not of what I speak.

I however,

am from the other end of the spectrum and know these jokes well... but NOT from personal experience

The gutter though, that I know well, from personal experience. It is warm and fuzzy down here, I like it.

But seriously, criticizing peoples ideas is an import step in design. It's only rude if your sole purpose is to make the other person feel bad. And I seldom take offense. I do tend to offend people though, because I assume other people can take it too, which isn't always the case.
