I know that most duck is prepared with fruit...but I like it roasted just like a chicken...

Only difference is that I prick the skin all over so that the fat can ooze out while it cooks and self baste.

My account was messed up until just now. I paid to renew my Golden Feather membership and lost all my permissions.

I always talk to people around me. I have meet some amazing people.

In 1985 I was on a ferry traveling from Lombok to Bali in Indonesia and there were two nerdy looking white boys near by. I started up a conversation. They had a liquid nitrogen container with them.

They were post doc researchers looking at DNA of bats on both sides of the Wallace Line - a deep trench that divides Asia from Australia.

We talked for hours on the differences in animals from either side of the trench. I learnt that there were marsupials all the way to Lombok.

There biggest concern was that they would run out liquid N2 before they could get to the lab.

Fast forward to 2011. I started up a conversation on a plane. Same guy.
