Ron, okay, just thought it might be easier for them if the egg is on it's side. It's fun to watch them hatch when the eggs are lying freely, they just roll about while the chick is working.
For egg on the side, If there are too many hatching and if the first ones to hatch are over a day old, Eggs on the side become hockey pucks--I have had chicks killed from that.

Better than childbirth! I don't have to do a thing... Although sticking the eggs in the bator wasn't as fun as.....

Ron, yeah, it's a good idea to remove any dry little dudes or dudettes. And your incubator is a lot bigger than our's, we only have the Brinsea Mini Eco. It worked pretty well though, it kept the temperature even.
That is a great little incubator!

If I were hatching small batches I would use one. Maybe I will win one in a contest some day.
