The Old Folks Home

I brought my friend a couple of silkie pullets (I hope) back from the Dixie Nationals. The only other thing I brought was a couple of eggs that were laid at the show. One is a Rhodes' Silver Campine and the other is from a Cuckoo Marans. I'm going to incubate them and see what I get.
They are pretty. I hope your eggs hatch.

@perchiegirl Hi Deb, What's gotcha down, anyway? I got you beat. I remember an add on TV when in high school of volkswagons for $1600! I also remember 25 cent hamburgers! It is so hard for me to pay over $5 for a *********** hamburger. Is that the aerial view of your property on your avatar spot? Think happy thoughts!

Somebody was right. The one on the left does look like a show girl. I gotta get one of those. They are such a hoot. Just one, so people can go, "What the h*** is that!?" I don't want silkies or polish because they are too vunerable to hawks because they can't see worth a durn. But crosses with cute topknots that still have good vision I would really like to have. Anyone who doesn't know what a show girl is, google "fowlrus" and check out Angie's show girls. They are silkie-turken crosses. Even better check out "Rudy", Kassaundra's naked (totally) rooster. She made him a coat and has a video of him doing a dance trying to kick himself out of it. It is so funny! Well worth a look.
