The Old Folks Home

SCG have not forgotten about the thing I was going to send you, I started it maybe aug or sept. and it's on the loom all that time. I just don't seem to find the energy to finish it. But I do have a mailing thingie for it with address label on. so I have been thinking about it.

Was BF happy with his presents?

SCG the adult apron gets the mess - but just at the top. The rest of the apron is in pristine condition or would be if not washed so often. Maybe I should fasten a crumb tray or poop tray just under the chin. Everything I have has chocolate, tomato sauce,,or toothpaste stains on it- at the top. Not doing to well with"shout", and the toothpaste stains (white ghosts) are the hardest to eliminate.

How about putting a little velcro at the neck and waste and sewing some scotch guarded fabric to fasten on.... then it can be pulled off and washed separately.

My mom has the same issues. She sews rhinstones over the stains....

Diva...

Have you tried Soilove? It's a laundry stain remover that's the best! It's in a small green bottle found in the laundry section. Saved many a sweatshirt doomed by oily spots.

Awesome work area.... you need to get a wall mounted light though to keep it out of the way of large projects.... Do you move your tables away from the wall so you can let your projects drape behind the table?

What you can do is sew a long strip the lenght of both your tables so that it can be fastened to the table bacside and fastened to the wall so Stuff doesnt just drop down behind.

I used to work in a HUGE curtain factory Tabling Curtains.... Back when I was still under twenty. Their tables had stainless steel Catch bins on the back side to keep the curtains off the floor.

What a fantastic idea!! BF had tried to put a shelf over top of the back of the table for a big light to be mounted underneath, but it interfered too much with the flow of things so I asked him to remove it. I miss the extra light.

Merry Christmas to all my "older more distinguished" buddies !

Older?

Cyn, so glad your sister is still with you. She looks very happy!

We got bats in the house for Christmas. The cats were going nuts in the back of the fireplace where we have the pellet stove. I pushed the ash pan thingie open not thinking that the cats were on to something. Not sure exactly what we're going to do about our boarders. Apparently it's illegal to kill them and it would be wrong to evict them in winter because they wouldn't be able to find a new home. I really do like bats - they're helpful to have to control bugs... but I'd prefer to have them somewhere other than in the house. We have an outdoor batbox but apparently the chimney was more inviting. So I guess we have to listen to them squeaking in the chimney ash thingie for another couple months.

Love bats. Never had them in the house.... I'm weird, think they have the cutest faces. Lol
