SCG, I though you get those even with the goats you pay for?

My two goats (paid for) are mostly incredibly well behaved. There's been a few instances of very bad behavior - getting into the garage (I didn't shut the door all the way) and ripping the wreath off the garage door and consuming it... but other than that, they come when they're called, they stay in their fenced in area until I come let them out. When I let them out they follow my verbal commands and they go back into their fenced area (one much more easily than the other, but not bad). When they get their grain I've taught them to not push, to wait patiently ON ALL FOURS and I can even get them to take a step back when I need them to so I don't get mauled when I put the feeders down.

I have to say, they're fairly well behaved.

Even my birds know commands (sounds and arm movements) for when I need them to go to bed earlier than they usually would.

Hey! You forgot about me! I used to be a queen! My 15 minutes of fame - GONE.

They called me a troll on that thread...I pooped in the moat and left

It was meant with complete acceptance and affection, Dude, come back anytime. If you need backup, I'm your man (so to speak.)
Explains a lot about the moat

That does not begin to explain about the moat(s.)

Mine, too!

Anyone able to identify this incubator so I can find the manual online and read more about it?

I *might* have ordered more eggs than I think I can stuff in my incubator. Someone is giving me this one late next week.

I'm guessing a free incubator is a lot like a free goat... a lot of work.

If you don't want it, I'll pay shipping to Alabama!

I have two goats of my own (free) and one on loan (billy) and chickens that DO NOT behave that well. I request that you forward instructions for training mine to behave as yours do, please.

Mark the top of the knob so you can make sure it is turning with the cap.

First thing I suggest is to get a milk jug top and drill a hole in it to fit (tightly) that stupid adjustment knob.  It makes it lots easier to work with. Even with it marked, it still has to be tweaked and tweaked. You can get through a hatch with it, and sometimes they do pretty well, but there were as many 0% hatches as there were 60% (about the best I had) and most were at about 35%.

I had one of these that I traded for a chicken tractor. I still have two stryro-bators that I use as hatchers and could sure use another if you ever decide to upgrade. I take the fans out and only use them for a two day hatch.

That goes for anyone else that has a working stryro-bator that you are not using, I would love to have them.

SCG - The water wiggler is a child's toy that some use to monitor the internal egg temp (or close to it.) It is a water filled tube that will invert itself endlessly and wiggle out of your hand. I use a zip-lock bag of water folded in half and wrapped with tape with the thermometer probe inserted between the folds. I have pretty much stopped using that, as well, and only use my two SpotChecks for the warm up and hatch.

Hey, Dude, good to see you, too. I have not been absent, just quiet. I saw your wife here, does she know about us?
