That was me! It's the Southwest Bacon Fest in Albuquerque, whose main sponsors are the local breweries and so plenty of suds to wash down all that bacony goodness.

As we bid 2014 "adieu" I want to wish all my buds and cronies and friends on BYC a very Happy New Year full of joy, prosperity and good health.

I'll probably be up to midnight to see if Solo the lone-egg-in-the-incubator farmers market surprise makes its appearance anywhere near midnight contestant time. There's a bottle of champagne to celebrate one event or the other.

Morning. The new year has started with depressing weather here. It's gloomy and wet and the snow is melting...

Wanted to give props to @superchemicalgirl for her link to that beekeeping training course. That is excellent! After that, I don't guess I really need to spend $40-50 for a 1 day course here. That covered about everything a starting beekeeper needs to know! Still have the final lesson to watch. I do believe that I may have sighted you in several of the videos... Is it true? Thanks alos for your personal input. Much appreciated!
